Blackstone Lake
45 minutes flight time
Blackstone is an 11 mile long lake located 87 miles northeast of our base camp. It is on the Cat river system and has river channels, rapids, rocky points, islands and long weed beds making it a super lake for walleye and northern pike. Great fishing structure begins right at the dock. Blackstone is a conservation lake. Limits are 2 walleyes and 2 northern per person.
The cabin has 3 bedrooms, 7 beds, futon style couch's, fully equipped kitchen and a walkway going from the dock to the cabin. There are 4 - 14 foot boats at the site equipped with 2-stroke 15 hp Mercury motors - all gas included, Boats have padded swivel boat seats with back rests.
Cabin amenities include:
- 2 propane refrigerators
- 4 burner gas stove with oven
- propane BBQ grill
- screened porch
- electric lighting
- hot and cold water
- indoor shower
- large cooler to hold block ice (provided by camp at no charge)
- satellite phone communication with base camp
- propane fish cooker and shore lunch pan for outside fish frying
To ensure quality fishing for years to come, all walleyes over 18" must be released & all northern pike over 27 1/2" must be released. Blackstone is a conservation lake, limits are 2 walleye 2 northern per person.
